Born in Westmoreland in 1916 originally trained as an oral surgeon. Studied art under James Cowie RSA and Allen Gwynne-Jones RA Exhibited widely RA RBA RWA SSA Work in permanent collections Newport (Gwent) corporation and Thamesdown Corp, lived for many years in Barnsley near Cirencester.
